Walking and Talking

As you will see, still no first steps. We're realizing that Lainey's walking before her sister gets here isn't really that big of a deal since we taught her to go up and down the stairs by herself. And since I rarely leave the house, the stairs are the biggest obstacle for both her and me when I have to move 2 kids among 3 levels of house several times a day.

Anyway, these 2 videos demonstrate what a typical day entails for us - walking around the house aimlessly and quizzing Lainey so she can practice her language skills. Her new word/thing is "tickle tickle," which you can barely hear her say. She likes to have tickle-fests with her papa when he gets home from work. She has also started mimicking what dogs sound like when they pant/are hot and drink water. Somebody gets shy around the camera and others when it comes to talking, and that is more than fine with us!
