I can't believe we are half-way to the year mark now. Hadley has been working on going from sitting position to all fours to stomach, so she is getting really close to being mobile. She will also try to pull up on something if given the perfect chance (like the laundry basket pictured below). I am going to constantly be on the move chasing her in probably two-ish short months.
Other than a few hard nights going to sleep during the 6-month growth spurt, we are back to normal with sleep - 12ish hours, waking once to eat around 4 (and sometimes pacifier reinsertion at around 1 or 2). Naps are all over the place. Currently, she is fussy during the day because it seems all she wants to do is sleep. Me too, kid, me too.
She was being quite the ham in the waiting room at the doctor's office yesterday. Stranger danger is not part of our vocabulary this go around. She rarely skips a beat when someone who doesn't live here comes over or when I immediately hand her off to one of her many aunts or uncles. Even when her sisters are pestering her, she has such a happy demeanor.
Her two front bottom teeth erupted a couple of weeks ago, but are still causing pain as they come up. She doesn't have a lot of patience in the high chair, so we usually only do two meals a day. She has tried all the baby food fruits and vegetables, but has moved on to the next level of mixed dinners. We give her tastes of table food nearly everyday, so she sort of knows where the good stuff is at already.
These are the stats from the pediatrician:
Weight: 17lb 10oz (75th percentile)
Height: 25.8in (45th percentile)
Head: 16.6in (50th percentile)
