We Have a Tooth!

Lainey got her first tooth to pop through on Tuesday. It is still pretty short, but it's out and it's sharp! It's made her pretty tired lately, so she's been napping more than normal.

Six months is crazy. There are so many things going on. The most obvious activity would be her obsession with rolling over and crawling all over our laps. She also has quite a displacement in terms of moving around on her belly on the floor. It might not be a straight line, but she does get to where she's going. For this, her sleep was altered for a few days while she got used to sleeping on her stomach. Jason and I are very much looking forward to her crawling (and walking) and becoming more independent.

She is finally taking a bottle again. It took about 2 weeks and a lot of wasted free formula for her to take a full bottle and now she gets one every night before bed. Once all the 6-month craziness wears off, we are going to wean her completely. We've been trying out all kinds of simple foods. She likes it all so far and seems to be a good eater. She will eat all that we give her and more, even if she isn't that hungry. Soon she'll be eating the tastier stuff from her new highchair. She's excited.
