We always seem to be drawn back home in September. Harvest and cooler weather promises lots to do and see. It gives us a chance to stop and enjoy the change of seasons, to welcome fall. This time, however, the weather was not pleasant. It was still warm (and humid). It took some adjustment for Lainey because she couldn't go outside and wander whenever she wanted - not only because things weren't toddler-proofed everywhere she would roam, but also because it was just too uncomfortable to be outside for more than 87 seconds.
So, it was frustrating for all involved trying to keep Lainey inside and happy.
Marin was her typical easy-going self... except when others held her and she could still see me. Stranger danger!
She did awesome on both drives, though.
