The Aquarium

Jenni and I took the girls to the Downtown Aquarium in Denver on Saturday. We'd been there before, but not with kids.

It was disastrous. They should seriously think about having an age requirement.

First, it was loud.

Second, it was crowded. The girls are claustrophobic like their papa.

Third, there are some dark areas.

Fourth, there were kids who think it's okay to yell a lot. Scream, more like it, which makes the youngsters truly scared when you add in all the noise and darkness. Aquarium? More like haunted house with a lot of fish tanks.

So we made a beeline for the exit, me holding both kids since they were so upset and sad and scared, once we were actually free from a confined space we were stuck in waiting for the mermaid show ahead of us to end.
