I never would have thought to use cut hosta leaves in a vase. Simple and cheap centerpiece.
Finally a container for between the garage doors. Boxwood, begonia, and dichondra. The boxwood can stay there through the winter since it's a perennial.

We went to Lawrence twice last week. Once for a 4th birthday party for the other two cousins who were in town from Colorado and Texas and once to say goodbye to one of those cousins before he left for Texas.
Lainey was quite good at fishing in Grandma's pond. Much better than her papa was.
More flowers blooming. Are you sick of the plant pictures? I just really can't help it since it seems there is always something in bloom. And out in the desert of Colorado, we had maybe two plants that bloomed, so this is quite a treat.
We built a wall of other sorts. This property seriously lacks landscaping edging, so we're trying to fix that.
Quintessential summer snack for us: pico. I could eat it with a spoon all day, but like it most in guacamole. Yum.
