The Chase

Lainey likes to be chased around the house when she's crawling. It's pretty fun to watch her pick up her speed when we say, "I'm gonna get you!" We usually get a squeal of delight. Or maybe it's terror. We'll try to get a video of her doing it to show you all.

She hangs out in the kitchen a lot and plays with different kitchen things. Boxes, wooden spoons and lids are her favorites. Of course her new "toys" are way cooler than her normal toys. Hudson has been drinking less water these days since his bowl seems to always be on the counter. Hmmm, wonder what that's from! We are getting things done again by putting her down wherever we are so she can explore on her own (which she's really good at doing), but we are constantly on the move checking in on her and moving her away from danger. It's definitely time to get some baby gates for the stairs!

And lastly, Papa's hat is a pretty cool toy, too!
