Wheelin'

Lainey is finally, officially a tricycle-rider (as of about 2 weeks ago; I'm very slow at relaying developments with the girls).  She got her trike as a hand-me-down from her cousin Brooklyn last year about this time, and though she tried (very frequently) in earnest, she just didn't have the leg length or power until now.

She loves to ride up and down the front sidewalk.  Watching her do so reminds me of my own childhood cruising around outside at my grandparents' all day, pretending certain sections of concrete were certain parking lots for certain stores and houses.  Oh, how important it is to let children learn to find their imaginations!

May she always find it joyful to reminisce upon the most simple of her childhood memories throughout her life.
